Security officers are very rude they act like they are police officers.
I went in around 10AM with my mother to booth number 4. First of all, she did not call our number (t10) three times but she continuously claimed to do so. Even if she did call our number 3 times, the amount of attitude she gave us was not okay for me. Second, I came to get my social security card which was so exciting and I don't know if she was discriminating or just being super rude that my mother couldn't speak English and I was a minor but I don't ever want to be mistreated like that again. She didn't try to solve the problem. We brought my expired passport, my DACA work authorization card, my school transcripts from kindergarten, my school ID, and much more. Yet, she told us we could not apply without even looking because my passport was expired when our lawyer told us specifically that expired passports work. How can someone just be rude like that and not try to solve anything work there? How can they work for the government with such a rude attitude? I'm not sure she understood that we waited about an hour just for her to turn us away. I'm so saddened by this experience and I highly recommend that she never talks to another person like that again.
