No one ever answers the telephone there. I've tried multiple times. I get the elevator music, then it goes silent with no answer, then hangs up on me. EVERY TIME.
I am writing to sincerely thank Ashley Anglin for her hard work and the wonderful assistance she gave me recently. Ms. Ashley Anglin's depth of knowledge and her experience with the Social Security Administration system were most important in quickly allowing her to solve the problem that occurred in my record. When I spoke to Ms. Anglin on the phone she understood my problem and confirmed it and then initiated the actions to begin to get the problem corrected. This took several steps on her part. I do appreciate her efforts in monitoring the system every day to see if the problem was resolved. When it did not resolve with her initial action, she followed up with a secondary method of solving the problem, which finally fully resolved the problem. I am most grateful to Ms. Aglin for her friendly, helpful manner and for the fact that with her know-how, she was able to work within the SSA system to come to a resolution. I am very thankful to her for that. She is an outstanding employee and we are fortunate to have her in our Athens SSA office.
