My experience with the Balch Springs S S Office has been awful. Mrs. They do not return calls. This has been the worst of worst experience. I work with individuals with disabilities and most of them do not know how to respond to the questions that are being asked and every representative I have encountered have not took in consideration these individuals disability. This office has no patience and shows no compassion when working with individuals with disabilities.
I can’t believe how unhelpful these people are it’s insane and mentally draining especially for someone like me who struggles mentally…
Pleasant experience. Everyone were great!
I've been trying to talk to someone at the Balch Springs location for two days. Each time I call, I am on hold for over an hour and then the phone just starts ringing and no one ever answers.
I need a benefit letter how can make an appointment to go to the nearest office?
I filed for a review, and called to check the status and they had no information regarding my review. I have sent in the same application three times, then the review and still have yet to receive my sons social security card
I called my local SS office, I was placed on hold and then they forwarded to call to the national office. I spoke to Ruben. He was extremely efficient and professional. Thank you so very much for letting me know the status of my Medicare insurance.

Getting scam calls from Texas social security office again..
Upon arriving at the office, I almost did not go in because of all the cars in the lot. However, I was able to sign in and was waited on fairly quickly. Since I only had a couple of questions and wanted to verify some information I had received from previous calls to the main SS offices, my visit only took a few minutes. I was very impressed with the attitude of the guard (Mr. Jacobs) - he was helpful to everyone & made light of situations when he needed to ask everyone to take a seat or please lower the level of volume in order to hear the speaker system. He joked with man of the people & even gave a couple of the kids a clipboard with drawings to keep them busy. The lady who helped us was also really friendly, nice and very helpful. I wish I had asked her name so I could send in a compliment about her! If the offices do read this review, she was at window #12 the morning of Jan 28.
