    I am trying to find out who is the person who manages this office. My daughter has been trying to get assistance in receiving benefits for her son and have been getting the run around. I have over heard conversations with them and my daughter. Rude and displays unprofessional customer service. I don’t understand how people get these positions and play with peoples livelihoods . My daughter is a single mother raising two sons one of which has special needs.

    I had an appointment on July 5th ,at this place with a Ms. Wilcox. Went there and the place was closed fo remodeling,. took a picture of the building. Called Social Security. told me to go up there July 12th I did gave my paperwork to a lady there who said she will put the work on Ms. Wilcox desk. got a paper in the mail saying I did not show up for my appointment. went up there on Tuesday and the place was closed again. due to water damage they said. been calling the office and leave in messages for Ms.Wilcox she never called me back. so tell me when will this office be open. because my paper says to come before August 5th.

SSI makes monthly payments to people who have low income and few resources and are:

Please bring:

How long will it take to get a Social Security card?

What is SSI (Supplemental Security Income)?
SSI provides monthly payments to adults and children who have low income, few resources, and who are blind or disabled. SSI also provides monthly payments to people age 65 and older with limited income and resources, who are not blind or disabled.
How Much Can You Get from SSI?
The basic monthly federal amount for 2021 is the same nationwide:
$794 for one person, or
$1,191 for a couple



Not everyone gets the same amount. You may get more if you live in a state that adds money to the federal SSI payment. On the other hand, you may get less if you have other income such as wages, pensions, or Social Security benefits. You may also get less if someone pays your household expenses.
