How to make an appointment?
I am extremely impressed and overwhelmed at the customer service I received from the Bangor Maine Social Security Office. In particular, I would like to personally thank “Mrs. Carter” and “Heather” for their professionalism, knowledge, and courteous customer service that I received, during my recent phone calls on two separate occasions in May of 2021. I have been completely impressed by the staff at this office, since having moved back home to Maine in April of 2020!! Thank you for ALL your help and resolutions to my requirements for service. You are like “a breathe of fresh air” in dealing with a government agency! (Even if it has been via phone calls and drop box, due to Covid-19 protocols!!) Keep up the good work...it shows!!
I need to speak to someone ASAP about changing my payee I am being stolen from and not being given ANY of my benefits. She is my mother. I need to do something before she takes all my covid benefits also. This is illegal and after 5 years i am literally still getting absolutely nothing.
The gal on the phone was very polite, helpful and answered all my questions!
I'm about to turn 65 November 14th. From what I understand I have to register for Medicare. Is this true, and if so how do I do this ? Also I am still working full time and don't plan on retiring this year. And have company benefits, just to let you know. What is my next step
Excellent staff
