No way to set appointment. I DO SUGGEST JUST SHOWING UP AND DEALING WITH THEM IN PERSON. THE PHONES DO NOT WORK. YOU CANT EVEN TELL IF YOU ARE ON HOLD.
Just a note to let you know I appreciate your help with my social security check changes.
This place is impossible. Just a typical government office who couldn't care less about those who are paying their salaries. They are truly embarrassing!

So very frustrated. My granddaughter is a Senior in high school and is also 18. So in May, SSA sent letter stopping her SSI benefits from when her daddy died. We were advised of the correct forms to reverse this and we completed them & faxed them. Since June 4, she has not received one check and is now owed 4 checks. We call every month. We are always told it is a computer glitch. In September, a rep in the Columbus office told me she has escalated our claim to the highest degree of escalation & that her supervisor would make sure it got resolved. It is now Oct. 7 and still no checks. We are now out of savings and need to pay bills! Our granddaughter deserves and is owed this money to take care of her. Can't someone issue an emergency check? Doesn't anyone do their job? This is really an emergency at this point. Everything is in jeopardy! Please help us get what is owed to her.
My daughter was approved for SSI because she is disabled with severe autism spectrum disorder. By the time she was approved and we were about to start the process of getting her benefits I got a large compensation of PUA benefits. I have not gotten any unemployment benefits for two months and have called the Columbus social security office and her caseworker several times and left voicemails and have gotten no response. I'm very frustrated and we are in a financial emergency, facing eviction and they took away our food stamps because of the PUA benefits we are in need of her expedited reinstatement of benefits and an immediate payment to make sure that we don't lose our residence. I can come in if the office is open, Every time I call it says in person services are closed.
