It has been going on for almost 4 months the paperwork has not been filled out nor have they put it inside the system. I'm about ready to get an attorney because they will not do their job and they keep giving me the same answer.
I went in to the office to ask about information regarding disability benefits. The gentleman that spoke with me was very polite & very helpful answering all my questions & telling me step by step how to navigate the website. Very happy with my visit.
I was wondering what I would need to get my daughters social. My wallet was stolen I never even got a chance to fully look at her ssn and she needs it to be enrolled in daycare
I have been advised by my child's Pediatrician to research receiving benefits for his ADHD, to help me as a signal mom. Could you advise me on how this works?
I would like to make an appointment for a new social security card
I need an appointment to bring in information for an application for disability.
Are they open to the public now?
I was curious on what all documents I need to restore my name to my maiden name after my divorce.
Can I come into the office to give my ID in person so u guys can make a copy...I really don’t want to send in my Dls
How do I go about changing my last name?
I called today to get my last name changed and the lady was nice and friendly. She said that I have to go online an fill out an application and that it was free so I went to fill it out and it says I have to pay for it.
I have been trying to call the office number and each time the line is disconnected. Today i have attempted 10calls but have been disconnected each time. Terrible service.
The office staff is pleasant and helpful.
Sent them my concealed and insurance card to get my name changed because the office is closed. They send me the returned documents paper EMPTY! As well as listing my name WRONG on the paper. Open back up!
Trying to call about an appointment, sat on hold for 15 minutes and then the call ended randomly.
I need to make an appointment to update my last name and my sons due to an error at the hospital but your automated calling system keeps hanging up.
I tried to report or inquire about a call. While listening to the automated reply, that recording was interrupted saying it was an involuntary response. I just hit the '1' again and the recording restarted again. But, again it was interrupted, and the automated operator thanked me for calling and said goodbye. I just began my call again, and just got dropped. On my third call I was told to please hang on and someone will answer my call. THEN the same robotic operator returns to thank me for calling, and hung up. On my fourth attempt to call, I got a sound as from a fax machine. So, I do not have means to visit in person. I can hire a neighbor to take me up there, but that is not easy to do. My neighbors work during your office hours. I am worried about people who rely on getting in touch with their SS office, and your phone system (is it a SMART application? -- note sarcasm) conveniently disconnects serious callers in serious need of information. I still have those few brain cells that warn me not to share personal info with strange callers. And Most Senior Citizens know that SS will not make calls to people. Still, there obviously are those people who make mistakes. And they can't get the help they desperately need, because robot operators are cheaper than real operators. Excuse my venom. I just wanted to vent, hoping someone will call their own answering system just to see what is going on.
I was forwarded to the Marianna Office from Panama City, FL on November 24. I spoke with a Mr. Winfield who was very responsive and guided me through the process of applying for Part B for me and my husband. He was very informative and I was able to print off the forms needed to start the process! Thank you to Mr Winfield who eased our minds In applying for our coverage! It was a pleasure to speak with him!
I would like to make an appointment to come in and talk to someone about applying for social security benefits. I have enough years in to retire but need to know how much I would draw now as opposed to when I am of the right age. If I can make an appointment I would like it to be Nov. 23rd,
The best and fastest services ever! And the employee explain everything to and for you.
I followed the instructions about receiving the fraudulent phone calls. Wanted to report them. Your system makes it so difficult and tedious to do this. I finally had to hang up because it is impossible to get to an actual person or get anything that makes sense for just wanting to report the phone calls. Bureaucracy at it’s best. Grrrrrrr
