Thank you for all your help in allowing me to collect SSA BENEFITS for my deceased husband, this really helps me, thank you.
Tried to call 4 times today and got 4 different outcomes, none of them leading to someone to answer my questions or make an appointment. Your hold music is bangin' though.
I have tried multiple times to get in contact with this office due to the fact that I had my name changed, they told me when I receive my amended birth certificate that I am to send it in and my amended social security card will be sent within 7-10 business days after my 'proof of identification' was sent back. It has been two months and my amended social security card still isn't here and they also don't answer the phone.
I have attempted to call HBG SS office for days. It tells you to press ZERO for operator and the phone just rings and rings. You then hear like someone is punching numbers. Then rings again. It tells you to call to make an appt. but then they don't answer. But you also just can't walk in. Please will someone clarify for people what they are suppose to do when they need stuff changed...like you got married and want to update your info. These documents are required for almost anything you do these days. How do you expect people to have accurate information if the office that updates the information makes it so difficult to get any help. Perhaps you should make it an ONLINE process. There are secure ways to update and validate information for a name change. Something needs done for sure. This is ridiculous. The bad rep is warranted.
I have requested a copy of my father's 1099 for 2020 - 3 times and every time I have been told it was mailed and we verified the address. Dad died in November 2020 - I have provided all the information that they need to give me a copy and I do not have it yet. Very disappointed.
I have tried to call the office several times and cannot get thru to anyone. I asked for forms to be sent to me two weeks ago and have not received them. So I tried to call to get an appointment and cannot get anyone.
I tried to call social security office to make an appointment for my dad to update his immigration status and Direct deposit , office is closed because of covid my dad did not able to speak i can help him to bring to the office please help him to update his status.
