I filed and was told last month I'd be receiving something (5 months from when i stopped working) I have been talking to a guy name Parker and he can't seem to call me back when i leave a message. He gave me his direct line i have even tried contacting a supervisor and no one seems to want to call me back. Am I getting money or not? I am still getting verification phone calls and told they are still working on my claim that normally takes 5 months to get; by then i should be receiving my regular SSA benefits, right? I've emailed i am told to call my area's SSA office and they tell me i don't have anything i am supposed to be getting. I've even contacted senator's office and no help.
So much confusion and to long hold times 1 hour plus
How can I get someone to answer the phone?
I keep calling in and getting a silent treatment where no one is picking the lineup I'm calling because I want to know why you guys took my Social Security this month and sent me $1
I lost my SSN card and need a replacement
The phone lines are messed hardly can hear. When am I going to get back pay from Harry' s retirement. Am I going to get a letter, I talk to Maggie at the Euclid office and Diana and I heard that help how much I'm going to get but I'm going to know when and when it's going to be deposited in my account and I'll back checked for March also? $1573. March? April 1790. Is that correct?
My father just had the same exact situation occur. Is this a legitimate phone call. He went to our local social security office and filled out all his paper work. They did say expect a call from Kansas City, but with all the identity fraud going on in this day an age, I was concerned. Can you please respond.
I applied for my social security benefit on 10/9/19. On 10/16/19, I received a call from Daniel, who said that he was from the Kansas City office of Social Security, and needed to verify some facts. He did not ask for my SS#, however asked for the city where I was born, and my mother's maiden name for verification. He was aware that I had filed for my benefit, and said that he wanted to confirm when I wanted my benefit to begin. I also made a request to start Medicare part B, as I am retiring, and my group coverage ends in November. He also said that he needed to confirm the start date, and said that he would mail me a form that my employer would need to complete that would verify I had a group healthcare plan. I have not received a form as of this date, 10/22/19. Can you tell me if this was a legitimate call, and if I will be receiving the form?
