I called this morning and didn't have to wait that long. The lady ( I didn't know her name) that answered the phone was very nice. She was very helpful to my question.
If I recently got married, how do I change my last name for social security?
Great service! Only few minutes to answer my inquiry.
They never answered the phone, if for any reason you miss the phone interview for your retirement you call back right away and they will never pick up the phone, now you have to make another appointment 20 day from now
I spoke with an employee, he was very rude and told me I needed to pass a background check to be able to be my son's representative or payee and said can you do that! It wasn't what was said it was the tone and how he said it and he had a very rude attitude, now I understand he probably had a bad day so I'll pray for him.
What does it take for you to answer your phone?! For the past 3 weeks I have been trying to speak to someone to make an appointment. Why even leave a phone number on the door for an appointment if you dont answer!
Why is it so hard to get help? I call and cant ever get through. And no there's no way of getting any answers on the website. This is frustrating and ridiculous!
Super disappointed with the Manteca Social Security Field Office --- no one picks up the phone. Staff are being paid to work from home and answer the phone and in the Manteca social security office they are not doing this. People are hurting with the covid-19 pandemic and this important office/service is not being offered. Shame on the Manteca social security office.
Horrible customer service! They talk to you like they hate their life and want to exert that anger on you, rude and unprofessional. Refused to help in any way. They are paid by the public to serve the public. If you don't like your job go elsewhere.
Hi I would like to make a appointment to change my social security name because my I got married need to change my last name
Trying to get the phone number for my mom's Social Worker.
Horrible service at this location. The man working window 1 is downright rude and unprofessional. He immediately attacked us for even being there. We had a legitimate concern about my sons social security number and he was condescending and rude. There is a way to talk to people with tact and professionalism and this guy doesn't have it. He should not be working in customer service. Terrible person. I sure hope they find better qualified people than this. I feel sorry for older people that have to deal with this. They shouldn't be subjected to somone berating them for simply asking a question.
