The rudest customer service ever. I do not write reviews but I had to say something. This is every time I call this office. Very rude people. Not to mention it’s always the girls that are the rude ones.
Is the office in Merced open for business?
Hi I would like to know how long the office will be closed and when will it open.?
I called and spoke to Kimber regarding my situation, she was extremely rude and very un professional. Please address this situation as she never knows what a person is going through mentally and to be treated like I was by a government worker was very disrespectful heartening
I would like to set my appointment to visit your office to apply social security number new applicant . I tried to contact telephone number but its said number is nit in use this time
The staff at this office is super rude. I tried faxing over some documents for my client's disability case and it turn out that as a representative we are not allowed to send information on behalf of the client. My client has gone to the office twice already, and as a non-English speaker has a hard time communicating with them, even through an interpreter. According to the claims rep who answered the phone, there are no case assignments and there isn't anyone at their office to be held responsible for the processing of any case. I work closely with the Manteca, Stockton and Modesto California offices and they all handle processing in the same manner. apparently Merced office thinks they're special! Horrible customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I never wanted to review this place in hopes that the SS office would better itself and the workers on its own. That didn't happen, so here are my thoughts. In general, all employees seem very lazy and look like they don't want to work there. I called for my mother earlier today and the employee won't talk to me because my name wasn't on 'paper.' That's understandable, so I allowed my mom to talk to her and informed her that my mom wouldn't be able to speak complete/full English with her. My mom answered the questions she had in English. However, the employee accused me of answering one of the questions. This is when I asked for a Hmong speaking employee because we all couldn't move forward into the conversation. For the future, I hope all employees won't show that lazy/inefficient side of them and gladly help the long line of people who are always at the SS office. Also, please direct all calls to an employee in our respective languages (Hmong included) in the automated answering machine if your English speaking employees can't help us even when we have an English speaking translator on our side. Thanks for reading. I hope my future experiences with the SS office won't continue to be bad like my past experiences.
