The New Bern office is AWFUL! I have to interact with this office approximately 1-3 times every week due to the incompetence of the employees with the exception of Ms. Harris. If you want things handled correctly talk to Ms. Harris. She is the only one who knows how to do her job and she will do her job 110%. This office needs a complete overhaul! A word to the wise if you are dealing with an over-payment more than likely if it was during COVID it is the fault of the Social Security Administration and the way their office handled things during COVID.It would be wise to go see an attorney. My benefits were terminated due to this mishandling of paperwork and i have an in office memo about how to handle their at fault situation of these over payments that i found mistakenly online because someone in that office was too incompetent to understand how to save a file and keep their own paperwork in house.
I spoke to Mrs Harris today about my disability and she was the nicest most helpful person I have had help me. Great employee there, its nice to have a pleasant experience. Thank you
I need a new disability update showing my benefits so I can show this to my probation officer.
I have filled out my information and am literally sitting outside to drop it off. I have called the office and someone answered and just breathed on the phone. There is a man outside beside me right now on the phone with someone in this office and they are talking to him. This is absolutely ridiculous and makes no sense. They will hang up and do everything to not help you. Very unprofessional.
My 18 year old son has been trying to get a replacement card for months with no help and no luck. We keep getting told different things and just returned documents over and over. Help is nonexistent here.
I called three times and was disconnected the fourth time. I called, someone picked up the phone and I could hear them talking in the background for 13 minutes. I said hello, hello hello and could hear them talking but not one time did anyone acknowledge that I was on the phone.
Horrible service, I just wanted someone to come and help me with the paperwork, I’m pregnant and I have been fighting for my son Social Security card for over four months numerous times I’ve been told I had the correct information….And now they have kept my ID when I was told to send my original id in.
Due to covid, I was told to send in my documents , and assured they would be returned. It's been over 6 months and I recieved my ss card, but never had my personal documents returned to me.
Need a new social security card with my same number what do i need to do.
