I am trying to get an appt face to face to provide my divorce decree and review my SS benefits.
I went to this office earlier today and the security officers are so rude, disrespectful, and didn’t want to do their job, telling me I going to have to come back tomorrow because they didn’t want to Check my hiking backpack, pure laziness, also keep in mind I came from Williamsburg, Va, it took me 2 hours to get there, they need to calm it down I have a disability and I felt threatened.
The Newport News, Virginia SSA office phone representative will not allow me to schedule an appointment to inquire about getting retirement benefits. When I called, the representative said I would need to show up and take a number. What if I take the day off of work, and get there and get turned away due to too many people there.
Do I have to have an appointment to request an social security card for myself and my son
Between the Newport News, Virginia office and the Omaha, Nebraska office, they have misspelled my name three times after I got married. Three! You only get up to 10 cards in a lifetime. I’m mailing off my third application for a correction tomorrow, here is hoping they get it right.
Unbelievable! I called twice with no answer around the time they open! Nobody answered ! Nobody is doing their job apparently
More than 5 months ago I went to request my daughter's social security and I never received a notice again
I literally sent in everything for my name change with my name spelt correctly on everything and they sent me a social security card with my name spelt wrong I’ve waited literally weeks for this because they won’t allow appointments for this.
I am trying to get assistance with my medication for the year 2021, it has gone up since last year a lot. Is there a program that is available to help with the cost of my medication.
I turn 65 on 912 20/20 and would like to apply for disability Social Security
It's been 4weeks since I applied for my social security number, I never get it yet. Whenever I call, they would always say that they will call me again, sometimes they forgot me on the line. I really want to know what's going on, I am sick of wasting hours from calling every day and can't get an answer
