I called this morning simply to set up an appointment with myself and my wife with a social security enroller at the Yauger location. Almost to be expected, the lady who answered the phone expressed an attitude of disgust when I spoke to her. My wife and my birthdays fall 9 days apart and I thought it would be efficient to do both in the same visit. Apparently this is beyond her capacity to handle and all I got was objections and a complete shutdown on her part which led her to hang up on me when I asked a secondary question. If you hate your job that much, leave.
Yeah so here's my review, I went in to apply for new social security card. I have called them four times and still have not received my social security card. First they didn't have a reason, then it was because they sent it to an address that I told them to change gave them the correct new address and it wasn't changed over two more subsequent calls I was assured the address have been changed and still didn't receive my card and when I called back was told that in fact the previous time the address had not been changed and when you call the 800 number they refer you to the local offices 866 number; every time I call the 866 number it puts me on hold for the next available representative like normal then after 1 to 2 minutes the phone will ring one time and then all sound cuts out no matter where I'm at all sound cuts out and hangs up on you after 7 and 1/2 minutes wait time every time! When you go into the office and complain about it they blame it on your phone and say it's on your end not there end. I did this is a major issue because this involves someone's identity their ability to have a roof over their heads and have employment it shouldn't be a battle like this and I'm not the only person that I know that has had similar problems with the Olympia SSA office.
