    The first time was great experience, receptionist very kind and understanding even though it was close to closing. Said I just needed Dr verification with wet signature. Guard that checked us in even compliment my 3yr old how respectful he was in a place like that. Well when i brought it back the Dr note along with same info I had brought before the receptionist spoke to me like I had wronged her, I tried to explain her coworker said this was all I needed.. then she continued to talk slower like that helped and she kept at it pushing my papers at me. I still told her I'm sorry whatever your going through .. I hope it gets better and to have a good day.... I couldn't grab my paperwork fast enough to leave . I literally left in tears and asked for complaint number because I didn't wanna walk back in to ask her name. Unprofessional.

    Numerous attempts to call-in proved to be a waste of time. Trying to make an online appointment through links provided is very difficult. It directs you to use certain appointment apps which you would need to load on your PC. Really?

    If I could leave a minus star I would. After 2 weeks and too many phone calls that they didn't answer or hung up on me, I had to call a different office to get help.

    The rep that I spoke with today was frustrated bc she didn’t know how to answer my question and actually disconnected saying that “you’re lucky that I put up with you for this long”. Her ability to communicate is inept.

    I have spoken with Pam last week at the Pueblo Office. She said she is going to find out if I am still have Medicare Part B since they are taking $144.00 per month?? She suppose to find this out and she would call me back. I have not heard from her. I have to have a treatment as soon as possible. Please help me to talk with Pam or send this letter to her.     Omg I am still on hold 38 min later. It's Thursday 012116. When I first called my wait time was 50 min. Almost there! Worst hold tines and customer service ever. Running a close 2nd is century link.

SSI makes monthly payments to people who have low income and few resources and are:
Age 65 or older;
Blind; or
Disabled.

Parents or guardians usually can apply for blind or disabled children under age 18. In some cases, other third parties can apply for children.

You should bring certain items when you apply. Even if you do not have all of the things listed below, apply anyway. The people in the Social Security office can help you get whatever is needed.
Please bring:
- Your Social Security card or a record of your Social Security number;
- Your birth certificate or other proof of your age;
- Information about the home where you live, such as your mortgage or your lease and landlord's name;

How long will it take to get a Social Security card?

What is SSI (Supplemental Security Income)?
SSI provides monthly payments to adults and children who have low income, few resources, and who are blind or disabled. SSI also provides monthly payments to people age 65 and older with limited income and resources, who are not blind or disabled.
How Much Can You Get from SSI?
The basic monthly federal amount for 2021 is the same nationwide:
$794 for one person, or
$1,191 for a couple



Not everyone gets the same amount. You may get more if you live in a state that adds money to the federal SSI payment. On the other hand, you may get less if you have other income such as wages, pensions, or Social Security benefits. You may also get less if someone pays your household expenses. You may also get less if you live with a spouse and he or she has income.
Should I Apply for SSI?
To get a monthly payment you must:

Have limited resources (the things you own);
Be a U.S. citizen, a national of the U.S., or some noncitizens; and
Reside in one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, or the Northern Mariana Islands.

Exception: The children of military parent(s) assigned to permanent duty outside the U.S. and certain students temporarily abroad may receive SSI payments outside the U.S.
