I am faxing my request for consideration and will post it as well to cover my bases. Trying to get through to a live agent is impossible. I have faxed information before and never got a any kind of response and it seems my information was not considered as a year later, my issue is still unresolved.
I have been trying to reach SSA Nashville office for 3 hours... I call in the call goes through a ridiculous amount of information about everything but contacting a real live person. When it finally gives you the option to 'continue the call' you go on hold with elevator music and the line just goes silent with nothing, no message that says please continue to hold, nothing but silence... My phone indicates the phone call is still active but there is no sound, nothing? I hang up and try again and again and again... with the same outcome. I finally get someone who is condescending and truly unhelpful... Suddenly I get disconnected! I start the process over again... When I finally get another woman she was worse than the first lady I talked to! She kept speaking over me when I was talking and never let me finish a sentence. Crazy thing, I got disconnected again after i requested to speak to a manager. How can employees be so rude, incompetent and hateful and it is OK? This would not be tolerated in any other business environment in the USA. Why is it OK that the employees of the government treat their citizens so unprofessionally?
How to get my social security benefit letter for last year?
Tried to call twice to get information. Once i was transferred each time whoever answered the phone had a lost of static or noise on their end and never said anything. I said hello multiple times.
I want to commend Reynaldo Collazo, window 20, at the Nashville Social Security Administration office. My wife and I met with him on Monday, February 4, and after waiting almost two hours, he offered delightful and personable service. He was extremely helpful and almost made the visit fun! We want to thank him for his service and assuring us that we had completed everything we needed. It was a pleasure working with him, and we just wanted to commend him for his helpfulness.
